It’s dot com!!

Hey all,

Our website has grown up — in the words of Homestar Runner, “It’s dot com!”

Go to www.bombproofthehorses.com

See you there!

Exciting times!

March will be a fun and busy month for Bombproof the Horses.  We’ve got a couple gigs plus our CDs should arrive sometime soon!

On Saturday, March 15 we play at Black Dog for free from 4-6 pm.  Opening for us is our singer’s solo project ‘All Kinds of Trouble’.  Check out the Facebook event here.

On Saturday, April 5, we’ll be playing a fundraiser concert for FARA.  Check out the Facebook event here.  Ticket proceeds go to FARA (Friedreich’s Ataxia Research Alliance).

And just last night, we put in an order for CDs.  They should be arriving sometime in March.  Here’s a shot of the cover!

Tracking and mixing complete!

We finished tracking and mixing our EP today — only 2 months later than planned!  Four songs make up the EP, entitled “The Ground The Sky”.  Now, the tough part — deciding album artwork!  We had a good time at Resonate Music School and Studio over the last few months recording…they’re good people!

Follow us on twitter @bombproofhorses or on Facebook for more frequent, up-to-date news on the release of the EP.

Shots at the Wunderbar

We had a couple fun gigs in January.  Here are some shots from our gig at the Wunderbar, which is always a great place to play.  We’ll be concentrating on getting our EP mixed and mastered in February and preparing for a few gigs in March. Hope to see you there!

January gigs

Bombproof the Horses will be playing at Wunderbar Hofbrauhaus (8120 – 101 St) on Saturday, January 18.  We’ll also play the following Tuesday (Jan 21) at The Leaf Bar and Grill (9016 – 132 Ave).  Come on out!

It’s a new year…

We had our first rehearsal of the new year…ran through our set and added a cover.  We’re getting ready for a gig at The Leaf on Tuesday, January 21.  More details to follow!
